What data is sent to Augself servers?
Only license validation requests (your license key and instance ID). Your documents, conversations, and personal data never leave your servers.
Can I use it offline?
The application validates your license on startup. After that, it works offline if you use Ollama for AI. If validation fails due to network issues, it will retry on the next startup.
What is Ollama?
Ollama is a free, open-source tool that lets you run AI models locally on your computer. This means you can use Augself without paying for API calls to OpenAI or Anthropic.
Can I upgrade to more instances later?
Each license supports up to 3 instances. If you need more, you can purchase additional licenses. Contact us for volume pricing.
