Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with Augself. This policy outlines our refund terms for different types of purchases.
Pro Subscription ($12/month)
Cancellation
You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your Settings page or via the Stripe billing portal. Upon cancellation:
- You retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period
- Your account will automatically downgrade to the Free tier after the period ends
- No partial refunds are given for unused time in the current billing period
Refunds
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new Pro subscriptions. If you're not satisfied within the first 14 days of your initial subscription, contact us for a full refund.
Refund requests after 14 days are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We may offer refunds in cases of:
- Technical issues preventing use of the Service
- Accidental duplicate charges
- Unauthorized charges (with verification)
Self-Hosted License ($49 one-time)
Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for self-hosted license purchases. If the self-hosted version doesn't meet your needs, you can request a full refund within 30 days of purchase.
Conditions
- Refund requests must be made within 30 days of purchase
- Upon refund, your license key will be deactivated
- Any active instances will stop working after the refund is processed
No Refunds After 30 Days
As this is a lifetime license, refunds are not available after the 30-day guarantee period. We encourage you to thoroughly test the self-hosted version during this period.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us with:
- Your account email address
- Date of purchase
- Reason for the refund request

We aim to process all refund requests within 5-7 business days. Refunds are credited back to the original payment method.
Free Tier
The Free tier is provided at no cost and requires no payment. There are no refunds applicable to the Free tier.
Exceptions
We reserve the right to deny refund requests in cases of:
- Violation of our Terms of Service
- Abuse of the refund policy (e.g., repeated purchases and refunds)
- Fraudulent activity
