By accessing or using Augself ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Augself is a digital twin platform that allows users to create AI-powered representations of themselves. The Service includes:

Creation and management of digital twins
Document upload and processing for AI training
Chat functionality for visitors to interact with your twin
Embeddable widgets for external websites
Self-hosted deployment options

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights
Create twins that impersonate others without authorization
Distribute malicious software or engage in harmful activities
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Harass, abuse, or harm others
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant Augself a limited license to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

For self-hosted deployments, all data remains on your infrastructure and is not transmitted to Augself servers except for license validation.

6. Subscription and Payments

Free Tier: Limited features available at no cost, including 50 chats per month.

Pro Subscription: Billed monthly at the rate displayed at checkout ($12/month). Includes 500 chats per month, up to 10 twins, and premium features. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the billing date.

Self-Hosted License: One-time payment ($49) for lifetime use. License allows up to 3 simultaneous instances per license key with unlimited chats.

Enterprise: Custom pricing for businesses with high-volume needs, multiple team members, or specific compliance requirements. Contact sales@augself.ai for details.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or circumstances beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Augself shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon deletion, your account enters a 30-day grace period during which you can recover it. After this period, all data is permanently deleted.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Switzerland.
